The camp orientation meeting is shortly after 1:30pm and instruction starts at 2:00pm. If you are flying or taking the bus or train (see below under Transportation) please do your best to book your travel plans to account for the times showing on the daily schedule for your camp so you arrive to the dorm in time for check-in and stay all the way through check-out.

Check-Out:  Check-out for the Game Development Camp is from 11:30am to 12:30pm on the last day of the camp.  Parents are invited to watch the final games of the camp tournament, 9:30am to 11am on the last day.   Check-out for the SB60 Camp is from 11:30am to 12 Noon on the last day of the camp.  Parents are invited to watch the final games of the camp tournament, 9:30am to 11am on the last day. July Camp Directions:  Highway 101 to the exit for Los Carneros Road. If coming from the north turn right on Los Carneros. If coming from the south proceed past the main UCSB exit for a few more miles and then turn left on Los Carneros (over the highway). Drive across Hollister Avenue (stoplight intersection) and turn left on El Colegio Road. For Tropicana Gardens at 6585 El Colegio Road proceed past the building and turn right on Embarcadero Del Mar and then turn right into the back parking lot. You may also use the side parking lot at the intersection of El Colegio and Embarcadero Del Mar.  For Tropicana Del Norte at 6525 El Colegio Road proceed past Tropicana Gardens and past Embarcadero Del Norte and then turn right into the back parking lot of the Tropicana Del Norte building. Parking is best done at the back of the building and you may enter the courtyard from there. No parking permit is needed at either Tropicana building. Packing List: All Campers, please bring 1) a water bottle to carry to the field, 2) athletic apparel (shorts, shirts, socks, etc.), 3) cap, hat or visor, 4) grass cleats or turf shoes and/or sneakers, 5) personal medication, 6) sweatshirt, sweatpants or equivalent, 7) swimsuit, beach towel & sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher), 8) second water bottle for when the first one gets lost, 9) lacrosse stick, 10) molded mouthguard. Boys bring your helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves and protective cup. Girls bring your goggles. If you are a goal keeper bring all required equipment for playing goal keeper. Anything you’re missing your regular season coach will likely let you borrow since you’re coming to camp to improve yourself. Overnight Campers please bring sheets and a blanket or sleeping bag, pillow, bath towel, toothbrush & other toiletry articles. Or, a bedding & towel package may be rented at the front desk for $25 for the week.

Transportation:  Santa Barbara Lacrosse Camp will pick up campers at the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), Santa Barbara Greyhound Bus Station or Goleta Amtrak Station (GTA).  The fare is $20 each way or $35 round trip when booked in advance.  If you are flying or taking the bus or train please do your best to book your travel plans so you arrive no later than 12 Noon on the first day of camp and depart no later than 2pm on the last day of the Game Development Camps, the SB60 I Elite Girls Camp & the SB60 Elite Boys Camp and 5pm the last day of the SB60 II Elite Girls Camp. Arrangements for our ground transportation service should be made two weeks (14 days) before camp using your on-line profile you created when you signed up for camp.

    • Amtrak 763 arriving at Goleta Station at 11:53am for coming to camp.
      Amtrak 796 departing Goleta Station at 6:45pm for leaving from the last day of the SB60 I Elite Girls Camp.
    • Amtrak 784 departing Goleta Station at 1:50pm for leaving from the last day of the Game Development Camps, the SB60 II Elite Girls Camp & the SB60 Elite Boys Camp.

  • Amtrak From Points North and To Points North
    • Multiple options so please find one with similar arrival and departure times to the Goleta Station.

Field:  We are training and playing on the Recreation Center Turf at UCSB. Please use this UCSB Campus Map to help you locate it if you'd like to watch your son or daughter play in the end of the camp tournament games on the last day of camp.  Parking is best in Lot 16 or 18 off Ocean Road to get close to the turf. Please be advised you will need to purchase a parking permit at a self-serve kiosk. Alternatively park at Tropicana Gardens or Del Norte back parking lots for free and make the short walk over to the field.

Turf Field Check-In Location

Check-In for the SB60 Elite Holiday Camp:  Check-in is on the turf at the UCSB Recreation Center (RecCen) from 8:30 to 9:00am the first day of camp.

Check-Out:  Check-out is at 12:00pm on the last day of the camp.  Parents are invited to watch the final games of the camp, from 10am to 12pm on the last day. 

SB60 Holiday Camp Schedule

Camp Schedule:

Saturday (12/17)
8:30 to 9am - Check-In at the turf.
9am to 11am - Session #1.
11am to 1pm - Lunch (provided) and optional UCSB campus tour.
1pm to 3pm - Session #2.

Sunday (12/18)
9am to 12pm - Session #3.
12pm - Check-Out.

Holiday Camp Directions: 

Using Highway 101 North:  Exit on Ward Memorial Blvd. (Highway 217) - UCSB Exit.  Highway 217 ends at the entrance to campus.  Turn right at the round about onto Mesa Road.  For the Rob Gym/RecCen Field Turf turn left at a stop light intersection on Ocean Road. Park in Lot 16 or Lot 18 across the street from the RecCen and the turf field. Use either the structure (Lot 18) or the open air parking (Lot 16). Use a self-pay kiosk to get your parking permit.

Using Highway 101 South: Exit on Los Carneros (after the Storke Road exit) and turn right.  Drive straight through the Hollister Avenue intersection.  Turn left at the next light onto Mesa Road.  For the Rob Gym/RecCen Field Turf continue straight on Mesa Road through a stop sign intersection at the campus Fire Station and turn right on Ocean Road. Park in Lot 16 or Lot 18 across the street from the field. Use either the structure (Lot 18) or the open air parking (Lot 16).  Use a self-pay kiosk to get your parking permit.
